Tusind tak Denmark <3

I spent the last month trying to realise everything that happened the last year and let me say I earned a lot of new memories and friends. I was also able to make some last memories in my last month here. For example my family visited again and I went on a small camping trip with them at Marielyst. Leyla and me also went to the CPH Pride Parade and we had the fun of our life and Mette took us on a last road trip around Falster and visited Knudenborg with us. In our last week of work we came together with almost the hole team and had a nice dinner at the Pitstop in Idestrup and had to say some of our last good byes and we knew that more will follow. It’s hard to say good bye, but I guess it just shows what all the people we met really mean to us. On Friday we had our last work day for which Leyla and me planned a small cozy get together with bonfire, music and fire snacks.

And now here we are. We knew this moment will come as soon as we got accepted for the project but still it feels overwhelming, sad and nostalgic and at the same time wonderful to realise, that the project is over.

I learned so much in this year. About Denmark, other countries, art, other people and much more but also a lot about myself. In some way I hoped to learn more about myself when I set up my application profile and applied for the project about Kulturfabrikken. To see where I am now in my life makes my proud of myself and I feel ready for the next chapter. So thank you Denmark for being a big part of my own journey and teaching me so much new stuff about the world and myself <3

Take care :)
