pure enjoyment :D

From all these month July felt like the shortest one and I think reason for that is probably my summer holiday. But now I'm back and can tell you a little bit about it :P

Before I went on my holiday, I got to assist Susanne in her Open Summer workshop. It's a new concept, that we tried out during the school summer break, where people can stop by and take part in the creative workshops from Tuesday to Thursday. Susanne and me had the first workshop of that kind and I really enjoyed it. We were lucky with the weather and so we were able to prepare the workshop in front of Kulturfabrikken to enjoy as much sun shine as possible. In that workshop we created small creatures out of clay. We put flower seeds into the clay and in that way you are able to place your creature in your garden or in the nature and through wind and rain the little creature will with time transfer into the perfect spots for flowers and other plants to grow. I enjoyed watching people come up with their own ideas and also got to create a dragon-cat creature which found its place in Billedfabrikken, well at least for now ;)

The week after the first workshop I spent in the Outdoor Cafe. I really fell in love with the Outdoor Cafe, because you're able to enjoy the good weather eventhough your not taking part in the workshops.

On friday of that week I hoped into the train with my travel bagpack and my suitecase, which was already filled with stuff to take home and began my travel home for my summer holidays. On saturday I woke up in the train arriving to Innsbruck (Austria) and took my final train into my home town Feldkirch. I always enjoy the last train through the mountains and this time it was even more exciting, because the last time it took that train was in december, so already haf a year ago. Finally at home I got to spent a few days with friends and family, going into the city, enjoying nature and walking through the city. On thursday the travel continued for me, because as a scout group we went on our summer camp to Slovenia. It for sure was an adventure which involved biking up and down through the hills, exploring Lubjliana and enjoying our time together at the ocean. It was a really cozy time and once again I was really happy to enjoy the time with my friends. After one week we again arrived at home and on Saturday it was already time for me again to say goodbye. But I'll soon be back :D

Back in Denmark I honestly needed two days to mentally sattle back in, but I'm also really happy to be back and enjoy my last few weeks here. I again got to help Susanne with the Open Summer workshop and this time we painted on flags and stones with nature materials. This time the weather didn't play along that well and we needed to move the workshop inside during the week, which was also totally fine and we once again had a lot of hygge going on.

Besides work we have been also busyer again and a few days after I got back I met up with Andrea, a volunteer we've become friends with. We met at her last evening in denmark and it was also really nice to spent some more time together and say goodbye and vi ses. Soon Leyla and me also have to say goodbye to everyone and Denmark, but not yet, so let's not think about that too much.

I'm sure we'll make the most of our last month and create some more great memories!

Until then: Take care, and hopefully we'll see you at Kulturfabrikken – maybe at the first open workshop on 11 August 2025?

Vi ses!
