Visits after visits <3
Hej everyone,
Here we are, writing another blog, with many things to tell about! I can’t believe we are already mid April, which means we have only a bit less than 5 months left in Denmark… I know that it still seems quite a while, but I think that the next weeks will fly away in no time!! Exactly like the past ones did, so let me write to you all about it :))
Right on the evening when I finished my last blog, Nanna had invited me to come over for dinner with her family, so Lily and Emil, who was visiting us at that time, could have a nice evening with just the two of them😊 Det var så hyggeligt!! The day after, I had a day off, so I could finally get some to-do’s done that were living in my calendar for quite a while… In the afternoon Nanna, August and I went on a little trip to Køge, which is such a cute city😍!
Then on Saturday I already sat in the train early in the morning, because I drove to the airport of Copenhagen to pick up my friend Camille that would visit me for a whole week🥳 We spent the first weekend in Copenhagen and had an amazing time catching up in cafés & strolling around in the city. Then on Monday she came with me to Kulturfabrikken to see the café and I showed her the open workshop. It was the 23rd of March, which means: it was Guna’s birthday wohoooo🎉❤️!!!!! She had her twin sister Jana visiting at that moment, so they came together to the open workshop, which was wonderful (and we had a participant record: there were 19 in total!) Camille unfortunately began to feel sick, so she went home to our apartment to get some sleep. After the open workshop Lily and I went to Guna’s apartment to celebrate her and Jana a bit more and it was a very cozy evening🥰 Luckily Camille felt better the day after and the rest of the week went very nice: I showed her Nykøbing, we had several movie nights, went to the gym, made tote bags together at designstuen and I ran my first ever 10k with Camille as my best motivator❤️🔥❤️🔥!! We spent the second Saturday again in Copenhagen, visited the happiness museum and enjoyed the city a little more. Sunday meant: back to the airport and goodbye😢
Meanwhile the Easter holidays had started, so everything slowed down at Kulturfabrikken (because the last weeks had been very busy). We still had open workshop and designstuen, but all very chill, which was nice, because the next visitors already came: Lily’s family! Her mom, aunt and cousin came and it was so so lovely to meet them😍💞 On Skærtorsdag and Langfredag they all went to Copenhagen, so I spent two relaxing days at home. Then on Sunday the fifth of April even more visitors came: my parents! I was incredibly happy to have them here and finally get to show them everything🥰🥰 There are so many things I could talk about, but to not make this a novel, here are some highlights: my parents got to meet Lily, her mom, all the colleagues from Kulturfabrikken and my harp teacher, which was so nice, we had a great dinner with Nanna, her husband Rasmus and August, I took my parents to Marielyst and then we had a long weekend in Copenhagen filled with a gathering with my cousin, a lot of walking and restaurants, watching the musical My Fair Lady in Det Ny Teater and visiting the Louisiana museum :))
After so many intense moments, the motto now is: back to routine, but that doesn't mean that things will get more quiet. There are a lot of things going on at work, a lot of planning and meetings and also beyond that we have many things planned for the next weeks. So get ready for the next blog to be full of events🤩 I’m already very excited!
Hope you guys are doing well in this funny April weather and see you next time🤗!
Vi ses,
Hanna :))
